STATEMENT IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19
Out to Lunch takes seriously the threat of Coronavirus Covid-19. At present we are following the Government guidelines specific to businesses, which can be viewed via the following link:
As a catering business we always take personal hygiene very seriously; we all regularly wash our hands with hot water and antibacterial soap before we start work, in between different tasks in the kitchen and after handling any rubbish or waste bins. If we touch our faces, or if we handle any deliveries, every staff member has to wash their hands immediately afterwards. This has always been standard practice for us.
In addition, we have now introduced hand sanitiser gels throughout our premises, which we use in addition to handwashing. We have ensured that every delivery van has at least one hand sanitiser gel in it at all times, which we use before and after delivering to each customer.
We do not plan to shut down unless instructed to do so by the Government or if we have any team member who displays symptoms - in this event we would close our premises for a deep clean and self isolate any team members who had been in contact with the infected person.
We want to reassure our customers that we are doing everything within our powers to limit the spread of this virus.
Whilst this situation is on-going, we are able to offer a home cooked meal delivery service, or if you are still in the office we can come and delivery you your lunch. Menus and options coming very soon.
We are hoping to continue as 'business as usual' and would greatly appreciate your support during this time.
